Skåne Energy Agency

Skåne Energy Agency is a regional energy agency founded with support from the European SAVE program in 1998. It is a department within Skåne Association of Local Authorities, which is a member organisation for the municipalities in the region and a non-profit organisation.

Within our role as a regional energy agency we initiate and coordinate various types of network, run projects with regional, national or European funding and disseminate knowledge and experience through seminars and conferences. Some of the networks we coordinate are Biogas Syd, Skåne Energy Advisors and Solar Region Skåne.

International collaboration welcome

Skåne Energy Agency engage in international work environments, especially in the EU. Over the years, Skåne Energy Agency has participated in more than ten major European projects within the field of energy and climate change, both as participating and coordinating partner. This has given us a wealth of experience working in EU programs like Intelligent Energy Europe, INTERREG a-c, European Regional Structural Fund and LIFE +. We have developed a good network of municipalities, universities and organisations around Europe – a network we hope to extend. We wish to work with organisations who share our values of reliability, qualification and commitment.
